Electra at the Book Fair in Lisbon 2024
Electra magazine returns to Parque Eduardo VII, in Lisbon, for the Lisbon Book Fair, which runs from 29 May to 16 June 2024.

All 24 issues of the magazine, in both Portuguese and English versions, can be purchased at various discounts on the EDP Foundation/Electra stand (F04). At this stand, you will also find maat catalogues celebrating artists such as Luisa Cunha, Vhils, Vasco Araújo, Gabriel Abrantes, Nicolas Floc'h and Jonathas de Andrade, among others.
As part of its participation in the Lisbon Book Fair, Electra will also organize a talk around the central theme of Electra’s latest issue: Excess. The event will take place on 7 June at 7pm in Praça Azul [Blue Square], with the presence of the writers Gonçalo M. Tavares and Joana Bértholo, magazine’s director, José Manuel dos Santos, and its editor, António Guerreiro.
A talk will be held in the auditorium of the Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Foundation on Wednesday, 24 September, 6pm, around the central theme of Electra magazine’s issue #29, ‘The Body’.
Daniel Blaufuks, author of the ‘Book of Hours’ in Electra #29, presents the project Japanese Journals at the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Electra takes part in the Porto Book Fair, which runs from August 22 to September 7.
Organised by Institut Français du Portugal, this year will explore the theme Power to Act – In search of a new horizon of universality. The event will take place on 25 June, from 6 pm to midnight, at Teatro São Luiz, in Lisbon
