Electra will be present at the first edition of the Lisbon Art Book Fair, to be held at the Museum of Contemporary Art - MAC/CCB in Lisbon on the weekend of 21 and 22 September.
This new event in the field of publishing is dedicated to artist’s books, catalogues and art publications, featuring independent national and international publishers, small and medium-sized publishers, specialised booksellers, as well as self-publishing cultural agents. The 29 exhibitors will include EDP Foundation, Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Foundation, Serralves Foundation, the National Theatre D. Maria II, Almedina bookshop, Sistema Solar- Documenta, Tinta nos Nervos, Snob bookshop, Linha de Sombra bookshop, and Pierre von Kleist Editions.
Electra editions can be found at the EDP Foundation stall, where books and catalogues from MAAT are also available.
A masterclass and the launching of new publications are also scheduled alongside the book fair. All activities are free of charge.
The new issue of Electra will be presented at the seventh edition of Drawing Room, the art fair dedicated to contemporary drawing held at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes in Lisbon.
Electra is the media partner of the Portuguese Official Representation at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2024, whose theme is ‘Foreigners Everywhere’.
