Electra will be at the Porto Book Fair (23 August to 8 September) and at the Belém Palace Book Festival (5 to 8 September).
Electra is present at the Porto Book Fair, which takes place from 23 August to 8 September in the gardens of the Palácio de Cristal, and can be found at the Antígona publishing house stand (35 and 36), among the 130 pavilions with more than 80 publishers and sellers of new and used books.
The eleventh edition of the fair, which this year pays homage to the poet Eugénio de Andrade, will include talks, concerts, staged readings, book launches, film screenings, exhibitions and other activities for children and families. Among the guests on this year's programme are writers Gonçalo M. Tavares and Daniel Jonas, who have already collaborated in issues of Electra.

Electra will also be present at the Belém Palace Book Fair taking place in the Gardens of Belém Palace from 5 to 8 September. All issues of the magazine will be available for purchase at the Prodidáctico stand. This Book Fair is an initiative of the President of the Republic, with a programme that includes concerts, book presentations, debates, films, and book signing sessions.
Electra is the media partner of the Portuguese Official Representation at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2024, whose theme is ‘Foreigners Everywhere’.
Electra will be present at the first edition of the Lisbon Art Book Fair, to be held at the Museum of Contemporary Art - MAC/CCB in Lisbon on the weekend of 21 and 22 September.
The Italian sociologist Vania Baldi, author of the essay Between Artificial Unconsciousness and Machina Sapiens published in issue 25 of Electra, was interviewed for the Público newspaper.
