In an interview with António Guerreiro in the "First Person" section of Electra's issue 8, the Moroccan writer Abdellah Taïa, who has lived in Paris for more than 20 years, revealed a voice that remains faithful and close to his family and social experiences in Morocco, and which fights to ensure that this world is not reduced to stereotypes and sacrificed to prejudice and ignorance.

Abdellah Taïa will present his book Celui qui est digne d’être aimé [He Who Is Worthy of Love] in conversation with writer Leïla Slimani, moderated by Tiago Manaia, at the Institut Français of Portugal in Lisbon on 14 March.
