Physicist, philosopher and environmental activist Vandana Shiva, who was interviewed by Electra in issue 9, is taking part in the conference "Food and Environmental Transition: time to listen to nature".

Vandana Shiva, one of the most prominent environmental activists of our time, gave an interview for issue #9 of Electra. In conversation with Sofia Steinvorth, she spoke about her work in support of organic agriculture and defended the indispensable role of women in a caring, human and ecological economy. Vandana Shiva is now visiting Porto to take part in the international conference “Food and Environmental Transition: time to listen to nature”, which will take place in the Serralves Auditorium, on 30 October 2023.
The event is organised by Serralves Foundation and Universidade Católica’s INSURE.Hub - Innovation, Sustainability and Regeneration.
