Electra magazine is the media partner of the Portuguese Official Representation at the Venice Biennale, which runs from 23 April to 27 November 2022, titled “The Milk of Dreams” and curated by Cecilia Alemani.
The project "Vampires in Space", by Pedro Neves Marques, presented by curators João Mourão and Luís Silva, represents Portugal at this edition of the Biennale. Chosen following a competition held by the Directorate-General for the Arts, "Vampires in Space" addresses issues of gender identity, sexuality and queer reproduction through an installation consisting of film projections, sculptural elements and poems.
Electra 16, which has Identity(ies) as the theme of its “Subject” section, will be distributed at the opening of the exhibition, taking place at Palazzo Franchetti.
