Electra will be present in the 13th edition of the Porto Book Fair, which is being held in the gardens of Palácio de Cristal from 21 August to 6 September. The magazine can be found at the Antígona stall (14), one of the 144 stands at an event which brings together publishers, booksellers and second-hand book dealers.
This year’s edition, which pays tribute to the poet Inês Lourenço, will feature a varied cultural programme including talks, debates, concerts, performances, book launches, film screenings, exhibitions and other activities for all ages. Among the many guests and participants coming from across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, we highlight the writers Marie Darrieussecq and Regina Guimarães, as well as the artist and essayist João Sousa Cardoso, all of whom have already collaborated with Electra.
