Electra will be present at the 8th edition of ARCOlisboa Contemporary Art Fair, organized with the support of the EDP Foundation, which takes place from May 29 to June 1 at the Cordoaria Nacional.
Various issues of Electra magazine will be available for purchase at the institutional stand of the EDP Foundation, located in the Inner Courtyard of the venue.
EDP Foundation, a patron of ARCO since 2017, presents for the third consecutive year an exhibition, as part of this event, featuring works from its Art Collection. This year the exhibition is dedicated to Paintings by António Sena, curated by João Pinharanda.
António Sena (1941-2024), awarded the EDP – Art Drawing Prize in 2002, also collaborated with Electra in its issue number 15, whose cover and central dossier feature his works. As mentioned in that issue’s Editorial, “in inviting António Sena to collaborate, Electra recognises an artist who, through his intellectual research and artistic practice, and integrity and persistence, has created a body of work with a considerable formal coherence that is unique in the world of contemporary art”.
The exhibition can be visited at the Guest Lounge of Cordoaria Nacional.
Electra will be present at ARCOlisboa 2026 from 28 to 31 de May, and Lisbon book Fair, from 27 May to 14 June.
A revista Electra passa a estar disponível no Brasil, nas lojas da Livraria da Travessa no Rio de Janeiro e em São Paulo, reforçando a sua presença junto dos leitores brasileiros.
The works of author Yves Citton and artist and filmmaker Hito Steyerl, contributors to issue #32 of Electra magazine, are being showcased in Braga.
Electra is the editorial partner of the Portuguese Official Representation at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, where the theme proposed by the late curator Koyo Kouoh is ‘In Minor Keys’.
