Yves Citton and Hito Steyerl in Braga
The works of author Yves Citton and artist and filmmaker Hito Steyerl, contributors to issue #32 of Electra magazine, are being showcased in Braga.

French writer Yves Citton will be in Braga on 16 May to talk about his latest book La Machine À Faire Gagner Les Droites (2025) at the Almedina bookshop (Braga Centro). The presentation will be led by António Guerreiro, editor of Electra.
On the same day, the author and the editor will also participate in two conferences taking place at Muzeu, as part of the INDEX Biennial, in Braga. These events are included in a diverse programme offering a broad reflection on the multiple relationships between Power, Art and Technology.
Yves Citton has contributed to Electra’s dossiers over several issues, addressing themes such as journalism and media, money, speed, the state of democracy, attention and, more recently, infrastructures.
The renowned German artist, author and filmmaker Hito Steyerl is presenting her work Mechanical Kurds at the Monastery of Tibães, also as part of the INDEX Biennial. Steyerl was interviewed for Electra 32 in a conversation exploring the complexities around the continuous metamorphosis of art, images and technology in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
Electra is partnering with the 2026 edition of ESPANTO – Festival Internacional de Filosofia as a media partner. The festival is taking place in Cascais from 13 to 28 June.
