'Presentation of the Body' at the Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Foundation
A talk will be held in the auditorium of the Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Foundation on Wednesday, 24 September, 6pm, around the central theme of Electra magazine’s issue #29, ‘The Body’.

Titled “Apresentação do corpo” [‘Presentation of the Body’], this discussion will draw on the reflections presented in the Electra 29 dossier, considering the body and its place in time, taking into account the major changes it is undergoing currently. The speakers will address issues related to our relationship with our own bodies, with the bodies of others, with gender, sex, society, culture and art.
With free admission, the talk will feature Nuno Faria (director of the Arpad Szenes - Vieira da Silva Museum), António Guerreiro (editor of Electra), film director Graça Castanheira, researcher and author P. Feijó, choreographer Vera Mantero, and playwright and author José Maria Vieira Mendes.

Daniel Blaufuks, author of the ‘Book of Hours’ in Electra #29, presents the project Japanese Journals at the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Electra takes part in the Porto Book Fair, which runs from August 22 to September 7.
