Electra is present at the 12th edition of the Porto Book Fair, which takes place from August 22 to September 7, in the gardens of the Palácio de Cristal. The magazine can be found at the Antígona publishing house stand (129 and 130), one of the 130 pavilions at an event that brings together publishers, booksellers, and second-hand book dealers.

This year's edition, which pays homage to musician and writer Sérgio Godinho, will feature an varied cultural program, with talks, debates, concerts, poetry recitals, staged readings, book launches, film screenings, exhibitions, and other activities for all ages. Among the guests on this year's programme are musicians and writers Adolfo Luxúria Canibal and Lula Pena, who have collaborated with Electra in previous editions.

Electra celebrates a partnership with Estado da Arte, the cultural magazine of the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.

A talk will be held in the auditorium of the Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva Foundation on Wednesday, 24 September, 6pm, around the central theme of Electra magazine’s issue #29, ‘The Body’.

Daniel Blaufuks, author of the ‘Book of Hours’ in Electra #29, presents the project Japanese Journals at the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
