Electra at ARCOlisboa 2026 and at the Lisbon Book Fair

Electra will be present at the ARCOlisboa 2026 Contemporary Art Fair, which is taking place from 28 to 31 May at Cordoaria Nacional. Issues of the magazine will be available for purchase at the Art Libris publishing stand.

In May, the magazine returns to Parque Eduardo VII in Lisbon, where it will be present at the Book Fair from 27 May to 14 June. Issues of the magazine, in both Portuguese and English, will be on sale at the MAAT-Electra stand (stand E03), with special discounts. The stand will also feature a selection of MAAT catalogues and other publications from the EDP Foundation.

Electra and MAAT also invite you to three talks, which will take place at Praça Azul:

29 May, 19:00 ‘Energies — Perpetual Motion’, a catalogue of an unlikely exhibition featuring curator Rosa Goy, archaeologist João Pimenta and designer Lisa Moura;

2 June, 19:00 A discussion on publications in the context of exhibitions (catalogues, artist’s books, exhibition leaflets) with designers Mariana Veloso and João M. Machado, and Culturgest’s director of visual arts Mário Valente, moderated by Nuno Ferreira de Carvalho, editorial coordinator at MAAT.

10 June, 18:00 ‘How to Defend Freedom’ – a discussion organised by Electra featuring director José Manuel dos Santos, publisher António Guerreiro and other guests.
